Unboxing - Ipsy Glam Bag August 2013

Hello, Beauties!

My Ipsy Glam Bag came yesterday, and I am so excited to share it with you!

This is the bag design for the month of August, and of course, the signature pink bubble mailer.

And now for the contents of my bag:

Urban Decay Lipstick in Anarchy - Sample Size 0.03 oz

Pixi Lash Booster Mascara - Sample Size 0.105 oz

Michael Todd Jojoba Charcoal Facial Scrub - Sample Size 1 fl oz

Mica Beauty Cosmetics Shimmer Powder in Bronze - Full Size 0.1 oz

Pacifica Mineral BB Cream - Sample Size 0.34 fl oz

Overall, I think this is a fantastic bag! I am really pleased with the caliber of products that Ipsy is including in their bags each month. 

Now a breakdown of the products: 

The Urban Decay Lipstick, Pixi Mascara and Michael Todd Scrub were all products that I had not previously tried. I have been dying to sample anything Michael Todd and the new Urban Decay Lipstick, so I was thrilled to see both of these products in my bag! I always like trying out new mascara, so I was happy to receive the Pixi Lash Booster Mascara as well. I had tried a different shade of the Mica Shimmer Powder and the Pacifica BB Cream prior to getting my bag. I was so excited to receive the shimmer powder in Bronze; it is beautiful and I really love the formula of their shimmer powders. The Pacifica BB Cream is just fine in my opinion. Not a lot of coverage, and not something I would purchase in the future. 

I put together a look with the Pacifica BB Cream, Mica Shimmer Powder, Pixi Lash Booster Mascara, and the UD Revolution Lipstick.

I am wearing Pacifica BB Cream on my face, and it offers the most minimal coverage. I have Mica Shimmer Powder in Bronze which I LOVE and Pixi Lash Booster Mascara on eyes. This mascara is perfect for a more natural look.

In the photo on the left I am wearing Urban Decay Revolution Lipstick in Anarchy. It was a tad bright for work, so I brushed Revlon's Nude Attitude Lipstick over it in the picture on the right. I think it turned out absolutely beautiful. The formula of this lipstick is a dream. It is creamy, glides on easily, is highly pigmented and does not settle into fine lines. I will definitely be purchasing this in a few other shades.
